Middle School Placement Rubrics
Course offerings for grade 8 are leveled in Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. In mathematics, courses are leveled starting in grade 7. Criteria for consideration for entry into Advanced level courses include but are not limited to the following: subject area assessment score, performance level on standardized testing, cumulative class average, and teacher recommendation.
